My friend Bob and I had an opportunity to visit this family of Burrowing Owls here in Southern California…very close to the Ontario Airport! Interestingly, there are several open fields near the airport and these owls set-up residence very near a street in one of those open areas. We knew we were in the right place when we happened across other photographers quite literally camped-out in the middle of an otherwise empty street, watching for these cute creatures to pop-out of their den and make an appearance. They didn’t disappoint and put on quite the show!!! Outstanding!!!
